I was welcomed to the Failed Foster Club today! I adopted Heater. After some very nice people came and looked at him Saturday and their dog decided it wasn't a good match, I realized that I was very relieved that he wasn't going. That sealed the deal for me.
I think Heater had already decided he was here to stay anyways and was just waiting for me to clue in.....
So Heater, welcome to your final Forever Home!
Heartiest congratulations to you, Heater, Gemini, and your whole household.

& Sam (the failed foster, but I knew I was keeping him the day I took him home; I just pretended to think about it)
& Jacey-Kasey (who wasn't even a pretend-foster)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for both of you!
ReplyDeleteThat is the best news! I have been following Heater's story. I am SO happy to see he found such a wonderful forever home.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm so happy for you guys. What a happy day for everyone. I'm sure Gemini is happy to have a perma-buddy.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind congratuations on my new fur-child Heater. Gemini didn't have a bad adjustment period, with all the other fosters coming and going in the last few months. This boy captured my heart when I fostered him the first time and it was an easy decision, I just don't know why I waited so long!
ReplyDeleteI might be right behind ya;-)
ReplyDeleteI met Heater while the Parker's were fostering him, he's an energetic little man isn't he, he didn't like Limo (my mutant mutt much, but who does?) :-)
